Welcome to the New Horizons Driving School website. 

My name is Mike Butler, I am an Approved Driving Instructor or ADI with over 15 years experience in training Learner Drivers and also training Driving Instructors.

The Official DSA Syllabus is the foundation of my tuition and your progress will be recorded using a 'Score Card' Record System. You will always know exactly how you are progressing with your lessons and the 'Score Card' Record System allows us to plan your Practical Test date accurately to minimise waiting times and needless additional lessons whilst waiting for a test.

My Training Vehicle is the popular Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 litre diesel featuring dual controls and air conditioning to ensure a safe and comfortable experience during your lessons.   

Special Offers are available to help make your driving lessons more affordable but remember, a cheap driving lesson does not always lead to an inexpensive course.  60 to 70 hours of ‘cheap' lessons may well cost you a lot more than 40 hours of reasonably priced, structured training .

Free DSA Theory Test help and advice is available to students. I can supply ‘mock’ test sheets and I also have Hazard Perception dvd rom’s available for students to borrow.

Lesson times and pick-up points can be arranged to fit in with your other commitments. For example, if you need your driving lessons to start from work or college and end at home then simply let me know when you book the lesson.
